Rak Airways: That Dominated Domestic Traffic In UAE!

Among so many airlines serving from its base at Ras Al Khimah, this airline was one of them; prominent between the years 2006 to 2014. Flying is definitely worthwhile when you want to reach destination faster and with much comfort. That is why plenty of airlines came to existence. Re launching of the airlines happened in the year 2010 when the Rak Airways experienced a major downfall in the year 2009. At present, talks are going on for the airlines to commence operation once again. It was in 2007, the airlines started operations from its base at   Ras Al Khimah International Airport.

Restructuring of Rak Airways in the UAE…     

The management announced a scheme called ‘value-for-money’ with which they aim giving low-cost air fares. This is a future plan of Rak Airways, at present they do not run any flight service.

When they were in the industry, they had a fleet size of 11 and operated to two major destinations in UAE. They even has a big destination list in the year 2013 that included flights to India, Nepal, Pakistan, Qatar and Saudi Arabia.

They even had bus operations within UAE cities to reach the airport; this included buses from Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Al Ain, Ajman, Fujairah, KhorFakkan and Umm al Quain. After reshaping, Rak Airline flights might again start flying in the air in future with more attractive deals, destinations and low air fares.
