A network as large as Lufthansa Airlines is not run by ordinary procedures. It needs the dedication of all stakeholders of the enterprise. Lufthansa is among the oldest and the largest civil aviation companies in the world and instead of being a single entity it is rather a conglomeration of many airline subsidiaries each of which in its own right is a major player in its respective sector. These subsidiaries also include cargo transport airlines.

The airline currently operates in 112 countries of the world spread across all 6 inhabited continents of the world. The Lufthansa network including its subsidiaries and codeshare partners can take you to almost any corner of the world. Lufthansa alone covers 215 destinations. Lufthansa is no longer merely a European player; it is a truly global airline.

Destinations and Fleet

Lufthansa Airlines has a strong presence in the Middle East region including the United Arab Emirates. It accommodates a large fraction of the passengers from the region travelling to Europe. Lufthansa Air has its primary hub in Frankfurt and Munich and a secondary international hub in Dubai.
